2702: Fed Meeting, 17 Mar, 2009

The Fed can't lower interest rates from here.
They're already zero.
The questions right now are ugly:
1. Will the Fed start buying 10-year T-Bonds?
2. Will the Fed start buying State and City bonds?
3. Will the Fed start buying Bank bonds?
4. Will the Fed start buying junk bonds?
Each of these involves political and market problems.
Not doing anything involves problems, too.
I don't see any good choices.
